About BAU

Beirut Arab University (BAU), located in the city of Beirut is one of Lebanon's leading educational institutions. It is a private institution for higher education founded in 1960, and it is academically affiliated to Alexandria University, which provides BAU with highly qualified staff members, as well as the most qualified staff members from Lebanon.
At BAU, with more than 300 higher education programs offered across a broad range of fields, we provide a rich and rewarding educational environment to some 15,000 students per year in Lebanon and abroad. Our students receive the best instruction leading to a degree from a nationally and internationally recognized and respected university.
We produce outstanding graduates that are highly motivated, knowledgeable and capable of meeting the global challenges.
Beirut Arab University has ten Faculties distributed in Beirut and Debbieh campuses, it also has a branch in Alexandria. Teaching in a new campus in Tripoli will start in 2010/2011 to be followed soon after by a campus in Bekaa.
